Just announcing that the induction of officers which is supposed to happen December 18, 2009 1:00 PM will not push through and is now on pending status.

Please cancel all your food orders (potluck) if you have any as we have all agreed to bring. That is from the previous meeting that happened December 10, 2009. Kindly wait for further announcement.

In the meantime, our initial meeting scheduled on January 8, 2010 will push through as agreed upon that there will be a monthly meet on every first Friday of the month.

Meeting formally started 7:30 PM after the election of officers and members of the board ended. It was followed by inspiring words from our elected president, Laarni B. Nasam regarding alumni association registration.
Officers agreed that alumni association consultants will be Ms. Manansala, Mrs, Sallador, Mrs, Besa and Mrs, Faigao.
Officers and board of directors agreed that the advisers will be the faculty club president and our high school principal.
The induction of the elected officers and members of the board of the alumni association will be on the day of the Christmas Party of the faculty (December 18, 2009).
The reactivation of our alumni association compared to other school's who have this as their own annual activity.
Planning of grand alumni homecoming which is tentatively scheduled on March 12, 2010 (F.G.C.I.S Foundation Day).
Elected president Laarni B. Nasam gave personal appreciation to all attendees and said she is looking forward for more harmonious working relationship with everyone.
Our high school principal, Mrs. Giron thanked everyone who came to the school for the initial meetup.
Jhon Jon Madrilejo ended the meeting with a short prayer.
Alumni and board members meeting adjourned at 8:10 PM

F.G.C.I.S Grand Alumni Reunion Registration

Above is a photo of the Felipe G. Calderon Integrated School (F.G.C.I.S.) grand alumni reunion registration happening at the high school ground near the principal's office. Ms. Manasala helps in handling the registration matters. All the alumnus were in high hopes that this will push through and things for the school in terms of positive development will happen.

Sam Casuncad and Ferdinand Segundo went in to register as graduates from batch 87. We also met newly grad students from batch 2008 and 2009 and had lunch at the open booth where the registration is on going. Working on Calderonian Twitter Account

I am working on a Twitter account for Calderonians and soon I will have it up for all of us to tweet and send messages to everyone else on the block. Hoping to give our selves some time to get together in ideas and words to help each other through cyber communication.

Online tools and usability features in Twitter is so simple that you cannot miss a word or two posting there and it is so convenient because you won't have to stress up your eyes to the max just to post a message to let the others know that they are loved and liked and hugged.

Of course it is also good on Facebook but the features have become way too complicated sometimes that I or we have to play around to see what works good and what doesn't I hope to find to post here at the Calderon Online Journal.
